test.jpgLITTLE HOUSE27 viewsThis is the first house buuilt by John Isaac Underwood. It is located on the Houchins Place in Patrick County, Virginia. The picture shows John Underwood sitting in the doorway, holding his rifle; his wife, Mary, standing to the left holding her son, Ralph; and her son, Roy is to the right, holding a hammer. The hammer is thought to be the same one that John I. Underwood gave to his Grandson, John Mathew Underwood, and a picture of it will be added to the ARTIFACTS Album.iwgallery
